I realized that the last brush I used in my own concepts were a lot more feathered than I had expected, so I dulled them down ever so slightly for this concept.
This is the Centra [FT] helmet. Currently being field-tested by only a selective few spartan IVs, this helmet is based off the Mark V [B] design, used by the Spartans who fought on the planet Reach.

What does this mean?
This means that you may see this helmet appear in Halo: Operation Aurora, as the first concept for many helmets and armor permutations to come.
Does this mean an Armory system will appear?
We are hoping to bring in a full armory of all different permutations which you can take into all game-modes, including single-player. This also means that a purchasing system will appear, similar to Halo: Reach's credits system.
Will classic permutations make an appearance?
Yes, and no. We plan to use our own art-style when developing Halo, as we want to make it feel like a completely remastered experience. Permutations such as the Mark V, Mark VI, Venator and more will appear in Halo: Operation Aurora however will not be exact replicas of Bungie's or 343's designs. Some helmets may also not make an appearance upon release, but may be patched in for free in a later update.
How many permutations do you plan to make?
We want to make a broad choice of permutations from Head to Legs, I myself have an idea of at least 10 permutations by the open-beta release, 30 by full release and over 50 as time goes on, as they will be patched in.
Micro-transactions?
There will be NO micro-transactions in Halo: Operation Aurora. We want the experience to be fair to all players, so everyone must work for their armor (apart from us developers, of course). However, players who get noticed by our team upon beta may be awarded with a little... gift.
